Fodor's Review

This reasonably priced, centrally located hotel is really shaking up the competition in Orlando with free Wi-Fi, free parking, free hot breakfast, free long-distance and local phone calls, and free hot food and cold beverages in the late afternoon. The sunny, marble-floored lobby; well-appointed rooms; and sincere, cheerful service give the impression of a much pricier hotel. Only a mile from the back gate of Universal, this hotel is also a quick drive from SeaWorld and Aquatica, very near the restaurant and shopping districts of I-Drive and Sand Lake Road, and about a 20-minute drive down Palm Parkway to Disney.

Stay here when you visit Orlando!

We stayed at the Drury Inn Orlando March 10-15, 2014. We had 3 rooms for 8 people. It was an amazing stay, clean rooms, comfy beds, great food for breakfast and snacks and the staff was FANTASTIC!!! Let me tell you this...If you are looking for a way to save money on your vacation, book this hotel, you won't be sorry! In the morning, fresh eggs (not powdered), biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, fresh fruit, potatoes, yogurt etc... In the afternoon,

Mac and cheese, soup, salad, baked potatoes, pasta and chicken nuggets. Stick to the ribs food to keep you full at the parks! Say hi to Vicky (the chef) and Dorothy (front desk). They are so friendly, no matter what time of the day it is! When I was leaving, I went over to say goodbye to Vicky and we hugged like we'd known each other for years.:) The management staff bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed the entire stay. The food was fresh and the afternoon snack was a real hit with the kiddos. Plus free popcorn and fountain drinks too! We estimated for 8 people we saved over $250.00 in food expenses! Thank you Drury Inn, see you next year!!!
