On a narrow island between Clearwater Harbor and the gulf is a stretch of sand with a widespread reputation for beach volleyball. It's also the site of a nightly sunset celebration, complete with musicians and artisans. It's one of the area's nicest and busiest beaches, especially on weekends and during spring break, but it's also one of the costliest in terms of parking fees, which can reach $2 per hour. Amenities: food and drink; showers; toilets. Best for:
partiers; sunset; walking.

One of the general area's best beaches, and the best this far north in Pinellas County. Large and pleasant to walk, often crowded. Parking can be a challenge.

This beach is one of the better beaches in the country. It is very clean and well kept and always packed with beach goers. There are plenty of amenities around the beach and a little bit of something for everyone. Whether relaxing at the beach is your thing, or having fun among the thousands of other beach goers, Clearwater is a must visit.
