The menu changes nightly at this intimate waterfront spot. The view is the first thing to lure you. Daytime, you'll get glimpses of Little Sarasota Bay, its mangrove trees, and wildlife like ospreys and dolphins; at night, plan to sit outside (except in the buggier months of July and August) for a delightful view. Menu-wise, the entrées might include braised lamb osso buco with button mushrooms, plum tomatoes, and spuds; plump sea scallops (expect at least a half pound) accompanied by polenta and maple-glazed pancetta; and tuna (big-eye, yellowfin, and more), which owner Jane Ferro, who is also the grandniece of the restaurant's namesake, has flown in from Hawaii.
