The Tampa Bay Area Restaurants

Crabby Bill's

Updated 04/24/2014

Fodor's Review

Nothin' fancy about the crab-man's place—just some of the area's tastiest seafood served family-style (picture long picnic-style tables). Crustaceans are the house specialty, meaning your choice of blue or soft-shell, and, from October to May, delicious—though costly—stone crabs, among others. There's also a good selection of other treats, including scallops and oysters. Seafood aficionados will want to stick with items for which this place is best known, as the

menu can be hit-or-miss. The views alone are a great reason to check it out. This restaurant sits on the beach front, something that turns the rooftop deck into prime real estate at sunset. Diners usually dress in the official uniform of the gulf coast beaches: shorts, T-shirts, and flip-flops.
