This hot spot is where tourists and locals converge to enjoy a fun and lively beachside atmosphere. A band plays Saturday and Sunday nights during summer, and couples get close on the patio bar and beach. But the rock-solid, if slightly less-than-imaginative, menu is the best reason to come. Don't believe the Caribbean lobster is a "monster"—at 1¼ pounds it's on the small side, but it's twice cooked including a finish on the grill and quite tasty. The showstopper is the cioppino (shrimp, king crab, lobster, mussels, fish, and clams with a sourdough crust). In fair weather, dine on the dock; otherwise ask for a table with a view of the water.
