A sophisticated and intimate spot, Redwoods had a bit of an identity crisis when it arrived several years ago, drifting from Pacific Rim to Latino before finally settling on a less confining, frequently changing menu, which always includes fresh fish brought in daily. Menu items have included swordfish medallions on a bed of corn and avocado, seared tuna with mango relish, wild Atlantic salmon, and grilled house-smoked pork chops. The terrazzo flooring and crisp white table linens define cleanliness, and the staff and chef make this one of St. Pete's best restaurants.
