South Florida Museum and Parker Manatee Aquarium

South Florida Museum and Parker Manatee Aquarium Review

Snooty, the oldest manatee in captivity, is the headliner here. Programs about the endangered marine mammals run four times daily. View changing exhibits such as digital images of water and other natural resources in the East Gallery; glass cases and roll-out drawers on the second floor allow you to look at exhibits normally out of public view. At the Bishop Planetarium (with a domed theater screen), programs presented range from black holes to Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, and other rockers.
