Divers favor this cinder-block roadside motel close to the manatee population at Kings Bay. Dive boats depart for scuba and snorkeling excursions from the marina. The property is nestled under large oak trees that make the place feel like the Old South. Poolside rooms have good views of the bay and sunsets. Pros: great location; bargain rates. Cons: chain-motel feel; few amenities.
