Fodor's Review:

A nice find that offers vacation rentals ranging from motel rooms to villas to patio homes, the resort is also popular for its 36 holes of championship golf (on courses designed by Jerry Pate and Tom Fazio). This upscale resort is 12 mi north of Destin via the Mid-Bay Bridge, on the shores of Choctawhatchee Bay. Tennis courts are privately owned, but you can use them for a special rate. Pros: variety is the spice here; many rooms have kitchens or kitchenettes for a self-sufficient stay. Cons: on the bay, not the gulf, so you'll have to drive to the seaside.
