Panhandle Restaurants

Blue Parrot

Blue Parrot Review

You'll feel like you're sneaking in the back door as you climb the side stairs leading to an outdoor deck overlooking the gulf (this is Apalach's only restaurant on the beach). Or if you can, grab a table indoors. During special-event weekends, the place is packed, and service may be a little slow. The food is hard to beat if you're not looking for anything fancy. Baskets of shrimp, oysters, and crab cakes—fried or char-grilled and served with fries—are more than one person can handle. Daily specials are listed on the blackboard.

Walked in, looked at the menu and decided on just a drink. Very mundane and small selection. Very disappointing! Stick with the grocery store and cooking your own meals on St. George. None of the restaurants there are worth going to dine.
