Imaginarium Hands-On Museum

Fodor's Review:

Kids can't wait to get their hands on the wonderful interactive exhibits at the Imaginarium Hands-On Museum, a lively museum-aquarium combo that explores the environment, physics, anatomy, weather, and other science and lifestyle topics. Check out the marine life in the aquariums, touch tanks, the living-reef tank, and the outdoor lagoon; visit geckoes, a kinkajou, snakes, juvenile alligators, and other live critters in the Animal Lab; dig for dinosaur bones; slap a hockey puck; watch a 3-D movie in the theater or a hands-on show; then prepare to get blown away in the Hurricane Experience.

  • Cost: $8
  • Open: Mon.-Sat. 10-5, Sun. noon-5
