The Lower Gulf Coast Restaurants

Shoals Restaurant & Wine Bar

Shoals Restaurant & Wine Bar Review

Recently renamed, this large restaurant is part of the Sandy Butler (its former name) gourmet market and deli; it seats 150 diners next door. Although its bar serves full liquor, it touts its select wine list, which is extremely affordable by the bottle or glass. If you find a bottle you like better in the market, they'll uncork it for a reasonable $5 fee. The all-day menu has come down in price considerably as well. Snack on jerk Angus beef sliders with roasted pineapple or pepper-jack-and-corn-salsa flatbread. Or have a full meal starting with Florida sweet onion soup or citrus crab salad and moving on to local seafood, pasta, or steak. There's also a burger and other sandwiches and orange glaze sponge cake or key lime tart for dessert.
