Waldorf Astoria Naples Review

Beach access, a golf club, and top-shelf luxury are all yours at this ultramodern high-rise formerly known as the Naples Grande; it has a big following with families because of its immense free-form pool with a 100-foot waterslide. If the links aren't your thing, the pampering Golden Door Spa just might be. The hotel also has a renowned tennis program. Accommodations are spacious and comfortable, and along with the rebranding, each room got the signature Waldorf Astoria bed (which has a cult following among travel junkies). The hotel sits behind dusky, twisted mangrove forests; to get to the 3 miles of powdery white sand on Clam Pass Beach, it's a short walk or tram ride. Besides the refined Aura restaurant, its Strip House—a New York transplant—serves fine steaks in a bordello setting. Indigenous cypress and pines frame the Naples Grande Golf Club, the hotel's 18-hole Rees Jones-designed course on a sister property.
