This place opened in 2008 with all the posh, polish, and incredible dining it takes to steal the hearts of those who thought the Ritz and Naples Grande were the only top-of-the-line options. Combining yachting and recreational activities with an Italian-motif boutique hotel, Naples Bay Resort offers incredible amenities, including a wide range of pools (including one just for adults); an intimate spa, a fitness center with readouts on every machine, and a friendly pool bar and grill. A free shuttle makes the short trip to the nearest beaches. Accommodations range from standard rooms to one- and two-bedroom suites to cottages. Pros: full range of amenities; walking distance to downtown; great dining options. Cons: service snafus to work out; no beach; some highway noise.
