Fodor's Review:

This lively, kitschy favorite is fun for families and nostalgic types with fat wallets. Servers wear scout uniforms and funny headgear. Electric trains circle overhead, glossies of 1940s Hollywood stars line the walls, and tabletops showcase old-time toys. After grazing your basket of cheesy bubble bread and sweet, yeasty sticky buns, go for aged prime rib or sweet potato-crusted tilapia. It's more about the atmosphere than the food here, but the homemade triple-layer cakes, delivered in hefty wedges, are outstanding. The red velvet is a classic favorite. Be prepared to wait for a table in season.

I have been going to nearby South Seas Resort for over 20 years and The Bubble Room is an absolute must for places we eat. I have eaten there well over 30 times have found the food to be uniformly excellent....we have never had a bad food ITEM, much less a bad meal. The service (Bubble Scouts) has always been good and they have an extremely well-organized kitchen (they do want to turn their tables over, but not to the point of feeling rushed). The atmosphere is unique and I think it is a perfect vacation restaurant. A bit pricey, but not bad considering you are on a resort island. The place does get crowded, so go early or late. Personal favorites: The Eddie Fisherman grouper entree and the Red Velvet Cake for dessert.
