Fodor's Review

For a good look at night herons and other inhabitants of Sanibel's interior wetlands, follow the 4½ miles of walking trails and climb the observation tower. See island research projects, Nature Center exhibits including live turtles, snakes and a touch tank, and visit a butterfly house. Guided walks are available seasonally on and off property. Kids under 17 are free.
