Lazy Flamingo

Lazy Flamingo Review

At two Sanibel locations, this is the friendly neighborhood hangout enjoyed by locals and visitors alike. The original in Santiva (near the beach between Sanibel and Captiva) has counter service only; the other is larger (but there's still often a wait) and provides table service. Both have a funky nautical look à la Key West and a popular following for their "Dead Parrot Wings" (Buffalo wings coated with tongue-scorching hot sauce), grouper sandwiches, burgers, and steamer pots.

Never had a bad meal! The seafood is the freshest! Raw bar-ice cold seafood! The Caesar Salad-the best in the world! The should bottle it and sell it!
I would have to say-our favorite place for relaxed island dining! The garlic bread-fantastic!
    WE LOVE LAZY FLAMINGO!!!!
