Fodor's Review

From the bread (Amoroso rolls) to the corned beef, almost everything here comes from Philadelphia. Not only are the Philly cheesesteaks delicious and authentic, but the burgers and other sandwiches are excellent—and the prices are among the lowest around. Stay for an old-fashioned shake, or join the Philly natives for pork roll and scrapple at breakfast. The strip-mall café occupies two rooms sided with natural wood board-and-bead paneling. Signs at every table humorously

reveal "25 Ways to Tell You're from Philly." If you come for dinner, plan on eating early because the restaurant closes at 8.

VERY DAMNED GOOD!!!

I have to say the food here is great and the people are terrific. I am a truck driver for 2 1/2 decades and have spent a lot of time in all the best towns and had all the best food in each. This place does Philly proud. The Cheesesteaks are done right (Whiz, Peppers, Wit) and the Scrapple for breakfast kicks ass. This place is very good. They even have the good bread and beer!

Trust me, they are from Philly

I worked for them in Boulder, CO. The Philly Steaks are awesome and authentic. The Hoagies just as good. Forget everything else. If you want a real Philly Steak, go talk to the Fines.

Looks 2 Food 1

Philadelphia should complain. Cheese steaks here are nearly inedible. Non-descript location, non-descript restaurant. Why is it listed here? Service is ok. Family run with a inexplicably devoted following. I'm thinking they've never been to Philadelphia.

philly girl luvs philly food

i was born and raised in philly and have lived in florida since 1979. this is not only the real deal, but they even have amarosa rolls. mmmmm, i miss this food as much as i miss the mummers parade. I love pretzels, hoagies, tastykakes and water ice. anyone else remember picking out your own amarosa rolls at the corner deli or bond bread factory wafting thru the air near cheltenham and olney ? i love philly and go flyers .
