South Beach

Fodor's Review:

On the Atlantic, this stretch of sand, also known as City Beach, is popular with travelers staying at nearby motels. The Natural Resources Defense Council lists it as one of Florida's beaches that often exceeds accepted levels of bacteria. Enjoy the water, but from afar perhaps. It has limited parking, and new development is squeezing it further.
