Book NowLime Tree Bay Resort Review
Easy on the eye and the wallet, this 2½-acre resort on Florida Bay is far from the hustle and bustle of the larger islands. Walls are painted in faux finishes and display tropical art. The five apartments offer stunning gulf views, while four deluxe rooms have cathedral ceilings and skylights. The best bet for two couples traveling together is the upstairs Tree House. Most units have a shared balcony or porch. Four off-site one-bedroom efficiencies are pet-friendly. Hammocks and chickee huts dot the gravelly beach.

Excellent view, location, service, and facilities. Couldn't have had a better vacation spot.

We brought my parents here in September 2006 for a vacation. I cannot go anywhere else now and will always return with other family members or friends. I have already booked our second trip.

We stayed in the Hemingway Cottage, at first sight it was ok, don't leave any food on the counters, ants are all over the place, if you want good room service don't go here, our sheets where changed every 4th day, unless you asked, then it still wouldn't be every day, our bathroom was not cleaned one day and the rest of the week we were there it was barely touched. The pool and hot tub weren't warm at all, and not very clean, there was no shoreline to walk, they say there are grills to cook on, they are the old fashion cast iron ones, your lucky to get two things on them, and thet are dirty. We we're there in Feb of 2007, the weather was ok, that was the only good part of the trip, we would visit the Keys again but never stay there again. Very unhappy with the whole place, for what we had to pay.
