Fodor's Review

A private garden with brick walkways, tropical plants, and a canopy of palms sets this convivial guesthouse apart from the pack. The vintage-1880s Island City House has wraparound verandas, pine floors, and charm to spare. Arch House, a former carriage house, has a dramatic entry that opens into a lush courtyard. Although all suites front on busy Eaton Street, only Nos. 5 and 6 face it. A reconstructed cigar factory has become the poolside Cigar House, with spacious rooms,

porches, decks, and plantation-style teak and wicker furnishings. The private tropical garden wraps around a spacious pool area. Children are welcome—a rarity in Old Town guesthouses.

Beautiful inside and out

We had a suite in their historic Arch House with a balcony overlooking their fabulous gardens, my husband spent a lot of time relaxing in the hammock on the balcony. The building but was updated with all modern conveniences (including free internet access!) while keeping the Key West charm, the kitchenette in the room seemed very new. The hotel has beautiful gardens, and is in the best location in Old Town, we walked to everything while we were

there. I would defiantly return, but for longer stay next time, three days in Key West is not enough.

Great Family B&B

We stayed in a suite with friends who have a small child. The B&B is very child-friendly providing a high chair and crib on request. This establishment has more land than other B&Bs in the area providing a more secluded atmosphere around the pool and gardens. Ask for a room off of the street as our walls were quite thin and the street and pedestrian traffic could be heard from inside. A room by the pool or by the garden would be ideal. Overall

a great getaway and a good location too.

Not for adults!

This fairly expensive guest house is beautiful. Rooms are large and very clean but sparsely furnished. Grounds are great, too. BUT, there are children everywhere, especially the pool. If you're bringing a family then it'll be great. For adults wanting some nice R&R, think about another place.

Highly recommended for a woman traveling alone.

Very quiet and VERY clean. Was unaware of staff...only actually saw the room attendant once! Felt like I was staying in my own vacation home. Quaint rooms, had private porch. I went during a July heatwave and the pool was a shaded courtyard. This inn is located on a quiet, residential street but only 3 short blocks from the "strip". The inn was so wonderful that I avoided the strip for all but 2 nights of my 12 night stay. I look

forward to going back this year!
