Smathers Beach

Fodor's Review:

This wide beach has nearly 2 mi of sand, plus rest rooms, picnic areas, and volleyball courts, all of which make it popular with the spring-break crowd. Trucks along the road rent rafts, windsurfers, and other beach "toys." Metered parking is on the street.
