Conch Tour Train. The Conch Tour Train is a 90-minute narrated tour of Key West, traveling 14 mi through Old Town and around the island. Board at Mallory Square or Angela Street and Duval Street depot every half-hour (9-4:30 from Mallory Square). The cost is $30.45 (go online for discounted tickets). Old Town Trolley. Old Town Trolley operates trolley-style buses, departing from the Mallory Square every 30 minutes from 9-4:30, for 90-minute narrated tours of Key West. The smaller trolleys go places the larger Conch Tour Train won't fit and you can ride a second consective day for free. You may disembark at any of 12 stops and reboard a later trolley. The cost is $30, but you can save $3 by booking online. City View Trolley Tours. In 2010, City View Trolley Tours began service, offering a little competition to the Conch Train and Old Town Trolley, which are owned by the same company. Its rates are more affordable at $19 per adult. Tours depart every 30 minutes from 9:30-4:30. Passengers can board and disembark at any of nine stops, and can reboard at will. Gay & Lesbian Trolley Tour. Decorated with a rainbow, the Gay and Lesbian Trolley Tour rumbles around the town beginning at 4 pm every Saturday afternoon. The 70-minute tour highlighting Key West's gay history costs $25. 513 Truman Ave., Key West, FL, 33040. 305/294-4603. www.gaykeywestfl.com.
