The grassy, beachfront tent sites are populated with plenty of native hardwood trees, and there's no light pollution here, so the night sky is brilliant with stars. Spend the day swimming, snorkeling, hiking trails, and fishing. Regular ferry service and boat rental are nonexistent so you'll need a private boat to get here. Parties of up to 25 people and six tents can reserve one of the three group campsites for $35 a night (including a boat dockage fee of $5); all other campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis only (if there's an open boat slip, there is an available site) and cost $20 per night for up to six people (including boat dockage). Bring plenty of insect repellent and try to pick a breezy spot to plant your tent. Keep in mind you must carry out all garbage. Bring some drinking water: the pumps are known to go out on occasion. Leashed pets are welcome.
