Hilton Garden Inn Tampa Ybor Historic District

Fodor's Review:

Architecturally, this property pales when compared with the century-old classic structures around it. But it is convenient: it's across the street from the Centro Ybor complex, 3 mi from downtown Tampa, and 7 mi from Tampa International Airport. The hotel restaurant has a full breakfast buffet and doesn't try to compete with the culinary heavyweights in a six-block radius. Rooms are business traveler-friendly, with ethernet access, dual phone lines, large desks, and ergonomic chairs. Pros: Good location if Ybor City is central to your plans. Cons: Chain property, aesthetics between the hotel and the neighborhood are not in sync.
