The Omphoy Ocean Resort Review

From the monumental entrance and the lobby's exotic ebony pillars to a lounge with Balinese art and a pool table to the bronze-infused porcelain tile floors, this Zen-like boutique hotel has a sexy, sophisticated look and a loyal following with young, hip travelers. It sits on 3 acres next door to the Four Seasons at the southern end of town, and has a serene private beach area with modern lounge furniture. The guest rooms are done in an Asian style and come with flat-screen TVs and sleek four-poster beds that are nothing like your grandmother's. Celebrity chef Michelle Bernstein is at the helm of the romantic ocean-facing restaurant upstairs and also presides over the kitchen for all other food service, including casual beach treats and in-room dining.
