Old School Bakery

Old School Bakery Review

This place concentrates on sandwich making at its best. Particularly worthy is the cherry chicken salad sandwich with Brie on multigrain. Apart from sandwiches and soups served for lunch every day, order from a diverse baked-goods menu with artisan breads, pastries, several kinds of cookies, and even biscotti. The bakery is primarily takeout, but there are a few small tables in an adjacent open-air courtyard.

I cannot say enough for the sweet rolls and breads from this hole-in the -wall bakery. We usually do not sit there to eat,but instead, take our things back to our hotel. But you could sit outdoors at tiny tables. Do get the cherry chicken salad mentioned above on some great bread and take back some of the sweets. I get a dozen stickey buns and take home to freeze whenever I am in the area.
