Ta-boo

Ta-boo Review

This landmark, which has been in business since 1941, with peach stucco walls, green shutters, and funky jungle accents, attracts Worth Avenue shoppers looking for a two-hour lunch and a dinner crowd ranging from tuxed-and-sequined theatergoers to polo-shirted vacationers. Entrées include super-prime Akaushi dry-aged beef with scalloped potatoes, and rotisserie duck with Asian vegetables and jasmine rice. Don't miss the signature Ta-boo Lust dessert, a coconut cream pie with a walnut cookie crust. Drop in late at night during the winter season when the music is playing, and you'll probably spot a celebrity or two.
