The bougainvillea-laden trellises set the scene at the main entrance on Peruvian Way. Weather permitting, many patrons prefer to dine on the outdoor terrace on the narrow pedestrian walkway. A favorite of Palm Beach society and Hollywood celebs, both the restaurant and the bar become packed and noisy during high season. The aroma of basil, chives, and oregano fills the air as waiters carry out home-baked focaccia to accompany delectable dishes such as seafood risotto, veal chops, and duck breast sautéed in mushroom sauce with venison-truffle ravioli.

Keep in mind: Reservations essential.

ATTITUDE for no reason. The waiter was haughty, arrogant and ineffective.
We later learned that he had only been there for 1-2 weeks. The veal chop was poorly cut, poorly cooked and so tough and sinewy that it was impossible to cut and too chewy to eat. The waiter and section captain knew about the situation and did nothing. Their explanation was that they were serving 600 guests that night. No excuse for the poor quality of the kitchen product and their ATTITUDE.

Our waiter was very nice though we found it weird there was only one Italian in there and she was the only waitress. The food was ok but the highlight of my night was the raspberry mousse!!!!!!! Wonderful!!!!!! I will be back for that.

The food and atmosphere at this restaurant are okay, but the service is horrible. Our waiter got several orders wrong at our table and it took us 10 minutes to track him down to let him know. Couldn't find him when we were ready for dessert either. However, he found us when it was time to deliver the substantial check.
