A husband-and-wife team oversees this quiet and hospitable restaurant under the Roosevelt Bridge. French and American influences are clear in the Swiss chef's dishes, from rack of lamb with Dijon mustard to grilled filet mignon stuffed with Roquefort and fresh spinach. The formal dining room has subtly elegant touches, such as fresh flowers on each table. A more casual menu is available at the bar.

Excellent food. Great early birds. My meat eating friend claimed he had the best steak in his life there. Had 2 problems with service. The waiter kept calling my friend "boss". It was out of place. The assistant kept reaching across our faces to fill water glasses rather than walk around the table. Telephoned the owner later and she was very appreciative of getting the info. Problem was fixed. We go there once or twice a month.
