Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center

Fodor's Review:

Explore a ½-mi interpretive boardwalk through coastal hardwood and mangrove forest. Guided nature walks through trails and stingray feedings are offered at various times during the day. Boat tours, which include a 20-minute stop at a bird sanctuary, cost $23 per person. Dolphins, manatees, and turtles are often seen on the boat tour, for which reservations are required.

  • Cost: $8
  • Open: Mon.-Sat. 10-5, Sun. noon-4; guided nature walks Mon.-Sat. 11 and 3, Sun. at 2; boat tours Tues. and Thurs.-Sat. at 11 and Thurs. at 4
