Blowing Rocks Preserve

Blowing Rocks Preserve Review

Protected within this 73-acre preserve are plants native to beachfront dune, coastal strand (the landward side of the dunes), mangrove forests, and tropical hardwood forests. The best time to visit is when high tides and strong offshore winds coincide, causing the sea to blow spectacularly through holes in the eroded outcropping. Park in the lot; police ticket cars parked along the road.
