McKee Botanical Garden

McKee Botanical Garden Review

On the National Register of Historic Places, the 18 acres here are both a tropical garden and a horticulture museum. The historic Hall of Giants, a rustic structure built from cedar and hearts of pine, features a beautiful stained glass, bronze bells, and the world's largest single-plank mahogany table. There's a 529-square-foot bamboo pavilion, a gift shop, and the Garden Café, which serves tasty snacks and sandwiches and locally grown tea. This is the place to see spectacular water lilies.
