An adventuresome menu distinguishes this simple Vietnamese eatery. Try the crispy eggplant or the crepe stuffed with pork, shrimp, and vegetables. Tamarind-flavored squid is another winner. The restaurant's black-lacquer furniture seems to date from the 1980s. Don't anticipate a romantic dinner experience, as there's an odd purple hue cast from fluorescent lighting. The food makes it worth the trip, however.
