Fodor's Review:

Right on beautiful South Beach, this small, unpretentious resort has loyal guests who book a year in advance. Ask for Rooms 125 and 126, which have balconies overlooking the beach. Others, most with kitchens, face the parking lot. Walk across the street to the excellent Italian restaurant Monte's and to South Beach Pizza. Pros: relaxed vibe; great location; faces the beach. Cons: steps to climb; nothing too fancy.
