Fodor's Review

In the heart of CityPlace, this European-style eatery offers Italian specialties and a wide variety of fine wines. The menu includes classics like chicken parmigiana, risotto, and fettuccine alfredo. Pizzas from the wood-burning oven are especially good. Service is friendly and efficient, but the overall noise level tends to be high. Sit at the outdoor tables next to the main plaza's dancing fountains if you can.

Terrible

My husband and I went to Il Bellagio at City Place yesterday in the afternoon. We have followed Tom Brillante's restaurants for many years all the way back to Mezzanotte in South Beach Luna Bella in North Miami Bella Luna in Aventua we even went to a restaurant that he was partner in Mexico then when we moved to Boca Raton we went to his restaurant Il Villagio in Mizner what a disappointment from the food to the service and we gave them 3 opportunities

and they failed every time what we love about Tom's restaurants is the consistence of the food and the service also the atmosphere but Il Villagio had the look but not the service or the food. So when we moved to Palm Beach I saw that there was another one of Tom's restaurants in W Palm Beach in City Place I asked my husband to take me for months he said no I do not want to get disappointed well as I started to say in the begging we went yesterday. WISH WE HAD NOT GONE The service was terrible the pizza was full of oregano and SALTY the doe was mushy in other words it was TERRIBLE and the restaurant does not even look nice it looks more like a cheap pizza place than a great restaurant then we ordered coffee this is an Italian Restaurant you should have good coffee you should know how to make a great espresso but they did not even get that right it tasted like Dirty Water. I am very DISAPOINTED and unfortunately we lost contact with Tom many years back if not he would definitely receive a call from us.
