This may be Florida's largest gathering of antiques and collectibles dealers. Atop the hill, 700 flea-market dealers sell household goods, garage-sale surplus, produce, baked goods, pets, and anything else you can think of. Below, 200 antiques booths purvey ephemera, old phonographs, art deco fixtures, antique furniture, and more. If you have the time, hit the flea market first, since that's where antiques dealers find many of their treasures. Both markets are open every weekend, but on the third weekend of the month the antiques market has a fair attracting about 300 dealers. The really big shows—drawing 800 booths—are three-day extravaganzas in November, January, and February. A Guitars, Cars, and Cycles Swap Meet is held the second Sunday of each month. You can spend a morning or all day at these events. Renninger's is busiest from October through May. From Interstate 4, take Florida's Turnpike north to Exit 267A to Route 429 east and, 8 miles later, U.S. 441 north to Mount Dora.
