Amura

Amura Review

Amura, Japanese for "village of love," is a local chain of high-end Japanese restaurants; two of the three also have teppanyaki dining. The Downtown location is lively and hip, while the two suburban outposts are quieter and nearly luxurious—and priced accordingly. The sushi menu has about 40 choices, from clams to yellowtail cheek. The Mexican roll—with avocado, tempura shrimp, and jalapeño peppers—makes for an unusual appetizer. Other entrées include Tokyo orange chicken, spicy pork, and yakisoba noodles.
