Dexter's Review

A trio of Central Florida restaurants, Dexter's is a low-key concept with a wildly creative menu, surprisingly low prices, a good wine list, and a faithful following among locals. Two of the best-selling entrées are the chicken tortilla pie—a stack of puffy, fried tortillas layered with chicken and cheese—and the Bourbon Street jambalaya, with andouille sausage and salmon. The rotating fish of the day features whatever's freshest in season. In addition to a core menu shared by the three restaurants, each has its own café menu with specialties designed by that unit's on-site chef. There's always live music on Thursday night. The other restaurants are in Lake Mary and Orlando's Thornton Park neighborhood.
