Determined to open a sleek tapas lounge reminiscent of the ones he'd visited in Europe, owner Mounir Elidrissi decorated his with red recessed lighting and named it for the French word for the color associated with passion. It looks like a destination for a glass of wine or a first date, but foodies visiting town also find it worth seeking out. The lamb chops with currant–red wine sauce are exceptional, as is the truffle mac and cheese and the mahimahi ceviche. A three-course
wine-pairing meal is $35. The wine list is comprehensive, with vintages from California to Lebanon, France to New Zealand. Live music plays Wednesdays through Saturdays.
