Doubletree Hotel at the Entrance to Universal Orlando

Fodor's Review:

It's a hotbed of business-trippers that also attracts pleasure-seekers thanks to a location right at the Universal Orlando entrance. Don't worry about noisy conventioneers -- the meeting and convention facilities are completely isolated from the guest towers. If you happen stay here on business, though, note that the teleconferencing center lets you connect with points all over the world. Pro: within walking distance of Universal and area shops and restaurants. Cons: on a fast-lane tourist strip; need a rental car to reach Disney, I-Drive, or downtown Orlando.
