This "tavern" is dry, but it's a prime spot on the parade route, so you can catch a good meal while you wait. Order colonial-period comfort food like smoked pork ribs, hearty pot roast cooked with a mushroom sauce, or turkey and dressing with mashed potatoes. Lunch prices are à la carte, with the least expensive sandwich for adults -- a roast beef with Swiss cheese -- going for $10.99. Kids can eat macaroni and cheese, pita pizzas, hot dogs, hamburgers, or chicken strips for $5 to $65. Dinner is a prix-fixe character meal that costs $28 for adults, $13 for children. The restaurant is decorated in lovely Williamsburg colors, with Early American-style antiques and lots of brightly polished brass.

After experiencing a lack-luster character dinner at The Contemporary Hotel and another less than desirable meal at The Pepper Market at the Coronado Springs Resort, we took a chance on this one and it paid off. The food is a straightforward menu-ham, turkey and dressing (stuffing for Yankees), roast beef, mash potatoes, green beans, macaroni 'n cheese, and a commendable salad with vinegarette-based dressing. The service was great! The characters were very attentive to the children and parents. LT is a nice break from the standard park food-pizza, hot dogs, nachos, burgers, etc. I would definitely go back.
