Fodor's Review:
Every day at 11 AM the celebrated Peabody ducks exit a private elevator and waddle across the lobby to the marble fountain where they pass the day, basking in their fame. At 5 they repeat the ritual in reverse. Built by the owners of the landmark Peabody Hotel in Memphis, this 27-story structure resembles a trio of high-rise office towers, but don't be put off by the austerity. The interior impresses with gilt and marble halls. Some of the oversize upper-floor rooms have views of Disney. A lobby concierge can answer your questions about attractions and cultural events. You can leave your cares behind at the spa or health club. A round-trip shuttle to Disney or Universal is $10 per person. Pros: adjacent to convention center (business travelers take note); good spa; short walk to shops and restaurants. Cons: pricey; adjacent to convention center (leisure travelers take note); on a congested section of I-Drive.
