At the Village Traders, wood carvers from Kenya whittle beautiful giraffes, elephants, and other animals while you watch. If you ask, the carvers may tell you stories about their homeland as they work. Each piece is unique, and some are a bit pricey, but you can buy an intricately carved wooden flute for $15. You'll find items from India and Australia for sale, too.
