Journey Into Narnia: Creating The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe

Amusement Parks, Disney-MGM Studios

Fodor's Review:

Launched just in time to coincide with Disney's late 2005 release of the blockbuster film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, this behind-the-scenes walk-through experience is a clever ad for the film, re-creating on a park soundstage the wintry Narnia set complete with forest and lamppost. As you enter the soundstage, the White Witch's castle appears on a large screen, and an actor portraying the witch makes a brief scripted appearance to set up a series of dramatic clips from the film. To get to the stage, you enter through a door fitted as a giant mahogany wardrobe. As you exit, you can browse a display that includes the White Witch's silvery sleigh, armor, some weapons, costumes, storyboards, and other film artifacts.
