Operated by the Seils, the Japanese family that owns Seito Sushi in downtown Orlando, this quiet and casual eatery offers the same excellent sushi as its sister location. You can dine on your favorite rolls while overlooking the lake in the center of Celebration. Nonsushi entrées like salmon teriyaki and New York strip steak are also available. The house specialties, which include marinated sea bass, are worthwhile and inexpensive. Although cold tofu may sound like a health-food freak's revenge, it's actually a great appetizer here, livened up with ginger, scallions, and soy sauce. The bananas fried in tempura batter make an excellent dessert.

We love going to Seito's in Celebration. It's a nice spot right on the water with a lake view. When we get the chance, we eat at the sushi bar and harrass the chefs to make us something special. :) It's a fun place to go with a young energy to it. They have happy hour all day that has pretty good stuff on it... like GGoose martini night!!! Sushi is always super fresh but if I want something cooked I go for the filet mignon. yummy with the shiso butter...drool...perfect with a Sapporo.

junk sushi at premium prices!

I recently ate at Seito in Celebration on the recommendation of a friend. My friend is not a sushi eater, but 'had heard good things'. Well, turns out this was like a vegetarian recommending a steak house, I should have paid attention. Seito is a completely disappointing sushi restaurant. I understand that not all sushi joints are created equal, but this one sets the low end of the bar. Seito's rolls are TINY, their presentation terrible and unappetizing. The miniscule dragon roll was a Cali roll that looked like it came from the all-you-can eat bar at Crazy Buffet, with a tiny scoop of crab filling on it that looked like it came from a plastic tub. The yellowtail roll looked like it came from Publix, and the fish was dull and didn't look right. Also, six pieces of yellowtail roll for almost 10 bucks is robbery! We actually refused to pay for this low-quality junk sushi, and walked out. Do not go here unless you are a tourist that has no idea of what good sushi is. The only good thing was the diet Coke! Go to any of Amura's locations in Orlando to see what decent sushi is all about.
