Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade

Fodor's Review:

The parade takes off at about 4 PM daily (times may vary, so check Times Guide) on a route beginning at the Kilimanjaro Safaris entrance and continuing around Discovery Island with a "characters on safari" theme. Rafiki in his adventure Rover, Goofy in a safari jeep, and Mickey in his "Bon Voyage" caravan join other popular characters each day for the festive daytime fanfare. Adding to the pomp are a batch of oversize puppets -- snakes, giraffes, frogs, tigers, monkeys, and others -- created by famed designer Michael Curry, known for the puppet costumes of The Lion King on Broadway. Throw in some fanciful "party-animal" stilt walkers and animal rickshaws carrying VIPs or lucky park guests, and you've got another reason to strategize your day carefully.
