Mickey's Toontown Fair

Amusement Parks, Magic Kingdom

Fodor's Review:

This concentrated tribute to the big-eared mighty one was built in 1988 to celebrate the Mouse's Big Six-O. Owing to its continual popularity with the small-fry set, it's now an official Magic Kingdom land, a 3-acre niche set off to the side of Fantasyland. As in a scene from a cartoon, everything is child size. The pastel houses are positively Lilliputian, with miniature driveways, toy-size picket fences, and signs scribbled with finger paint. Toontown Fair provides great one-stop shopping (better known as meet-and-greets) for your favorite Disney characters -- hug them, get autographs, and take photos. The best way to arrive is on the Walt Disney World Railroad, the old-fashioned choo-choo that also stops at Main Street and Frontierland. Note that Mickey's Toontown Fair is completely accessible.
