Lost Continent

Fodor's Review:

Ancient myths from around the world inspired this land. Just past a wooden bridge and huge mythical birds guarding the entrances, the trees are hung with weathered metal lanterns. From a distance comes the sound of booming thunder mixing with shimmering New Agey chimes and vaguely Celtic melodies. Farther along, things start to look like a sanitized version of a Renaissance Fair. Seers and fortune-tellers in a tent decorated with silken draperies and vintage Oriental carpets are on hand at Mystics of the Seven Veils. The gifted women read palms, tarot cards, and credit cards. In a courtyard outside the Sindbad show, a Talking Fountain offers flip responses to guest questions, such as "Is there a God?" Answer: "Yes. He's from Trenton and his name is Julio." Answers are followed by the fountain spraying unsuspecting guests.
