Unlike the maniacal coasters that put you through zero-g rolls and inversions, this low-speed, mild-thrill version (top speed 22 mph) makes it a safe bet for younger kids and action-phobic adults. (It's the same off-the-shelf design used on Islands of Adventure's Flying Unicorn and Goofy's Barnstormer at the Magic Kingdom.) The coaster races (a relative term) through a structure that looks like a gadget-filled factory; the coaster's cars look like shipping crates -- some labeled "mixed nuts," others "salted nuts," and some tagged "certifiably nuts." Woody's Nuthouse has several ups and downs to reward you for the wait, and children generally love the low-level introduction to thrill rides.
